1 – General conditions of sale
1-1 – Application
These terms apply to sales transactions finalized by the Hôtel Alchimy with individual customers.
1-2 - Capacity
All customers acknowledge having the capacity to contract, that is to say, being of legal age and not under guardianship or trusteeship.
1-3 – Prices
Prices are indicated in Euros. VAT is always included. Prices shown include only the services strictly mentioned in the reservation. Additional services provided by the hotel during the stay and, if necessary, tourist tax will be added to the price mentioned while booking. The prices on this website are subject to change without notice and only the price indicated in the booking confirmation is binding.
1-4 – Payment terms
Direct debit of a 50% deposit of the price of the stay upon booking, regardless of the booking date.
The balance of the reservation as well as all the cost of any service used during the stay, are paid directly to the hotel during check-out.
1-5 – Force majeure
Force majeure means any event beyond the parties’ control that is both unforeseeable and insurmountable and prevents either the customer or the hotel from carrying out all or part of the obligations stipulated in the contract.
This shall particularly apply in the case of strike, insurrection, riot or prohibitions enacted by the government or public authorities.
It is expressly agreed that force majeure shall suspend, for the parties, the performance of their mutual obligations and that each party is responsible for the resulting costs.
Should a case of force majeure occur, customers are responsible for all additional costs that may be incurred to enable them to continue their trip.
1-6 – Claims
All claims must be filed with the Hôtel Alchimy by registered mail, within 30 days starting from the date of the customer’s stay.
1-7 – Responsibility
The hotel is responsible for the security of goods and people within the hotel. However, the hotel cannot be held responsible for the damage or theft of vehicles parked outside the establishment.
1-8 – Data protection
Under law L.78-17 of 6 January 1978, the customer is informed that all personal information given is subject to data processing, unless otherwise stated.
The customer has the right at any time to access, correct or delete this information.
The information requested when booking is essential to correctly process your request. This information is only intended for Hôtel Alchimy, concerned by the booking request.
1-9 – Applicable law
Any disagreement, claim or dispute relating to the booking arrangements for a stay or a hotel room are subject to French law.
2 –Special conditions not including promotional offers
These terms and conditions are subject to French law and the jurisdiction of the Courts of Albi.
2-1 – Booking conditions
To guarantee the reservation, the customer is asked to give his credit card number via a secure online system.
Booking is only final after receiving an e-mail confirmation from Hôtel Alchimy.
The stay is paid in full directly to the hotel.
During certain reservations, a deposit may be required to secure booking. The deposit is payable directly to the Hotel within the period given when booking. Two deposit payment methods are possible: either by cheque payable to the hotel and sent directly to the hotel or by credit or debit card. In this case, booking becomes final only after the hotel receives the deposit, within the required timeframe. The balance shall be paid to the hotel on site.
The customer is asked to check-in before 6pm and inform the hotel in the event of late arrival.
2-2 – Changing a reservation
Any request to change a reservation must be made as soon as possible and no later than 48 hours before the stay. The hotel reserves the right to refuse this request.
Changes made to the reservation are only final after receiving an e-mail confirmation from the hotel.
Requests to change a reservation may result in the application of the cancellation policy, if necessary.
In the event of force majeure or exceptional circumstances, the hotel reserves the right to host guests in a nearby hotel of equivalent category, at no extra charge.
2-3 – Cancellation policy
In the case of a guarantee by credit or debit card, the cancellation period with no extra charge is 2 days prior to arrival (48 hours).
For any cancellation received less than 2 days prior to check-in, the customer will be charged for 1 night.
If guaranteed by a deposit, regardless of the time of cancellation, the deposit is not refundable.
To cancel a reservation, the customer is asked to contact the Hotel Alchimy by e-mail or by phone. Cancellation by fax is not accepted.
The cancellation of a reservation by e-mail will only be effective after the customer receives a confirmation of the cancellation by e-mail from the Hotel Alchimy.
The date in which the cancellation request was received (by e-mail, mail or phone) will be the date used for cancellation.
If the customer does not show up at the hotel and no cancellation has been made, the total booking amount will be charged.
3 – Special conditions regarding special offers
3 - 1 – Booking conditions
Special offers and promotional rates are only valid on the alchimyalbi.fr website and are subject to availability of the rooms allotted to each operation. Offers cannot be combined with any other current offer. All prices are in Euros. They are for information purposes only and are subject to change without notice. They do not include tourist tax.
Here, it is explicitly stated that in the context of special offers, the hotel will charge the customer with the total amount when booking.
In case of a no-show, the total amount is held by the hotel without the customer being eligible for any refund. For a minimum stay of 2 nights, in the case of a no-show on the first day of the stay, the hotel is no longer required to hold the room for the remainder of the stay.
3-2 – Changing a reservation
Travel dates, duration and nature of the stay (type of room, number of people, number of rooms booked, breakfast, etc.) cannot be changed once the reservation is made.
If modified, the total amount shall be held by the hotel without the customer being eligible for any refund.
